Wildcat Weekly: August 10-14, 2026
Morse Families,
Our theme for the 2026–2027 school year is "We Are MORSE: Connected in Community, Ready to Learn, Stronger Together." This theme reflects our shared commitment to creating a school where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. As both an IB PYP Candidate School and AVID National Demonstration School, we strive to develop confident, compassionate, and reflective learners who are curious about the world, prepared for the future, and empowered to make a positive difference. Through strong relationships, engaging learning experiences, and a culture of high expectations, we are committed to ensuring that every student receives the support, encouragement, and opportunities they need to thrive, both in the classroom and beyond.
The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our top priority. To maintain a secure environment, Morse will continue to operate as a closed campus before, during, and after school. However, we understand the importance of a smooth and reassuring start, especially for our youngest students. On the first day of school, Thursday, August 13, families are welcome to walk their child to class to help ease the transition and get familiar with classroom locations. Beginning Friday, August 14, we ask that parents say their goodbyes at the car, valet drop-off, or the gate. Our supportive staff will be present to help every child feel comfortable and confident as they begin their day.
